BALTIMORE FLOWER MART

Baltimore, where I was born and raised, is the home to America's first Flower Mart (1911). My mother started attending in the 60's and inspired a love of the Mart in her children. My love of flowers probably was born there on a beautiful Spring Day when I was young. Oh, I can still taste the BFM signature lemon sticks, a whole lemon with a peppermint candy stick inserted to slurp up the lemon. Oh my........
