For Anita, painting becomes the turest expression of her thoughts, her lens to the world, and the spectrum of color best describes her mood. Anita's vibrant colors demonstrate her passion for life, and the value of joy and the richness of diversity. Bright primary colors often highlight her subjects. The zestful playfulness in her paintings give her a fresh and accessible feel. There is nothing pretentious about her art. It is simple, straighforward, lively and sometimes with a twist of wit. Anita will all create a piece, or series, that speaks to her heart, as if the canvas is the only way she knows how to share it.
Nowadays, Anita spends hours in her studio, telling many stories and developing new techniques. One day, it may be the story of her mother and sister's cancer.
